Professional M.Jiracek & sons Trumpets – Models 136–139

The M.Jiracek & sons professional trumpets, models 136–139, represent the top level of our own production. These instruments are manufactured directly in our workshop, with particular emphasis on precise workmanship, the selection of high-quality components and the resulting acoustic properties of the instrument.

For our professional trumpets, we use high-end components and materials, selected with regard to their mechanical and acoustic properties. Individual parts are not simply assembled as mass-produced components; during manufacturing and final assembly, they are carefully inspected and finished so that the completed instrument functions as a coherent whole.

In-house design and handmade production

Models 136–139 are based on designs developed and manufactured within M.Jiracek & sons. Their production combines our experience gained through many years of brass instrument manufacturing with modern construction and manufacturing methods.

An important part of the process is handwork and the individual finishing of each instrument. This is where many of the details that determine the character of a professional instrument are created – from the precision of individual joints and mechanisms to the final adjustment and finishing of the instrument.

High-end components

For our professional series, we use components that correspond to the level of the instrument. This applies not only to the material of the instrument body, but also to the quality of the valves, bell, tubing, slides, mechanics and other components.

The selection of components is also important for the instrument's response, intonation, tonal color, projection and overall playing feel. A professional player needs an instrument that can be relied upon throughout its entire range and across different dynamic and tonal conditions.

An instrument for professional players

Models 136–139 are designed for players who expect a high level of workmanship from their trumpet and want the possibility of selecting an instrument according to their individual requirements.

With a professional instrument, it is not enough for it to play well when first tried. Stability, mechanical precision, long-term durability, serviceability and the possibility of individual adjustments are equally important.

This is why we manufacture our professional trumpets in smaller quantities and devote considerably more time to each instrument than is possible with instruments intended for mass production.

Why does a professional trumpet cost more?

The price of a professional trumpet is not determined by the brand alone. It primarily reflects the cost of the components used, the amount of handwork, in-house production, the time required to complete the instrument and subsequent servicing.

A professional instrument therefore cannot compete on price with mass-produced student trumpets. The purpose of models 136–139 is not to offer the lowest possible price, but to create an instrument that meets the requirements of professional players.
